George Michael is my favorite vocalist. He has written and performed some
amazing songs such as "Like Jesus to a Child," "A Different Corner," "American
Angel," "Careless Whisper," "My Mother had a Brother," and et cetera.
I feel an affinity for him in at least three ways:
1. He is the same age as my son, and in many ways they share the same looks.
2. He and I share the same birth date -- same month -- nearly the same day.
3. We have both been burdened with debilitating depression.
I have feelings toward certain people of fame that could be my child considering their
age such as Freddie Prinze who also shared my birth date and Princess Diana. I felt
simpatico with their angst.
I hope for the best for George Michael. I pray for him to have peace of mind.
